Council on Aging of Elkhart County
For over 30 years the Council on Aging of Elkhart County has been committed to proudly serving the older adult community by providing them with the necessary services to maintain them in ther homes, support independence, and preserve dignity and respect.

This includes attendant care, homemaking, personal support and transportation.

Crystal Valley / Middlebury Kiwanis Club
"Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers, dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time."

Visitors are welcome to attend our meetings every Wednesday from Noon until 1:00 at the Essenhaus at 240 US Highway 20 bakery entrance. A special lunch menu is provided and costs between $4.20 and $8.20 depending on how many items are ordered. Guest speakers talk about a variety of topics and on the first Wednesday of each month, committees meet to discuss business.

Friends of the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail
The Friends of the Pumpkinvine is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the old Pumpkinvine railroad bed as a nature trail for use by bikers, walkers and cross-country skiers.

The paved trail will ultimately run from Goshen northeast to Shipshewana for 17 miles. Parts are currently in use in Goshen and Middlebury with the Middlebury to Shipshewana segment under construction in 2009.

Middlebury Community Historical Museum
The museum tells the history of the town of Middlebury and the surrounding area and has special exhibits that change annually.

Hours are 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays and 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturdays. Groups can make appointments for other times. Admission is free and the public is welcome.

Northridge Area Swim Association
The Northridge Area Swim Association (NASA) is designed to provide children and young adults in the Middlebury Community School District with learning experiences through competitive swimming.

These experiences will allow them to learn and develop physically, mentally, socially and emotionally as an individual in a team-oriented environment.
